Euphorbia trigona variagata - 'Variegated African Milk Tree'
Euphorbia trigona variagata - 'Variegated African Milk Tree'
3.5" Pot
The Euphorbia trigona variegata, commonly known as the Variegated African Milk Tree, is an upright-growing succulent prized for its striking cream, yellow, and green variegation. Often mistaken for a cactus because of its small spines, this unique plant produces branching stems and small, oval-shaped leaves. With the right care, it can grow several feet tall indoors! Pruning can also encourage additional branching for a fuller appearance.
Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light or direct morning sun. Avoid harsh afternoon sunlight, which may scorch its foliage.
Water: Water thoroughly, then allow the soil to dry out completely before watering again.
Soil: Use a fast-draining cactus or succulent soil mix to help prevent excess moisture and root rot.
Safety: Handle with care! When cut or damaged, this Euphorbia releases a milky-white sap that can irritate the skin and eyes and is toxic if ingested. Keep away from children and pets, and wear gloves when pruning or handling damaged stems.
With its bold structure and colorful variegation, the Variegated African Milk Tree makes a striking statement piece for any succulent collection!
